Kurt Bills

Kurt P. Bills (born January 8, 1970) is an American politician, who served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2011-2012. In 2012, he received the Republican nomination for United States Senate and ran against Democratic incumbent Amy Klobuchar in November losing to the incumbent by a margin of 35%.〔( "Bills wins GOP nod for U.S. Senate," by Rachel E. ==Early life, education, and early career==
Bills attended Winona State University earning a B.S. in secondary social studies education, B.A. in US history, and M.A. in education.
Since 1996, Bills has worked as a secondary social studies teacher at Rosemount High School, teaching courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and American Government & Politics. He is also the former head coach of the wrestling team.〔http://votesmart.org/candidate/biography/123261/kurt-bills〕
